The Chicago Artist's Coalition (CAC)
and Effe Leven Gallery will be hosting a group art exhibition, "Women
In the Arts: A Celebration". Please come out and support! I will be
showing 8 original prints (sample attached) and several drawings. There
will be a featured "artist to watch" guest speaker (tba) at 6pm and the
reception will begin at 7pm. Food and drinks will be provided.

Effe Leven Gallery
Effe Leven Gallery will be hosting a group exhibition, Exotica Erotica,
during the entire month of August. It will be held in the main gallery
space and will consist of nearly 2-dozen artists and photographers. I
will be showing 6 figurative ink wash drawings, all created during my
time in Paris (2004). All drawings are for sale.

sometimes, the best thing to do is cut strawberries into tiny pieces, eat them all, and then have somebody put you to bed. yup.

jess makes beautiful drawings that celebrate daily experiences. she brings magic to things like washing peanut butter off of spoons, tube socks, ferns, moths and faucets. she was also my roommate in college - i'm a lucky lady. i'm honored to own an original piece from her mfa show. jess, i love you.
slimlimb: allegorical chicago artist of interest
pine cones wearing cowboy hats, cigarette smoking ice cream cones, dangerously armed crayons, odd families of sperm bouncing around with fabulous hairstyles, houses lined with gumdrops and shawled birds ... this imagery has made me laugh all today, all yesterday, and all last week. thanks, chris kerr! check out more at:
